If an employee has moved desks, it’s easiest to simply move the physical phone to the new office. When doing this, make sure to carefully examine the back of the phone and plug the same plugs into the new phones going to that location. If you do this, and the phone won’t boot up, then your phone was likely being powered through one of the other Ethernet cables (called Power over Ethernet), and the new cable isn’t set up to do that. In this case, contact us and we will help you get everything sorted out.
Make sure the new office meets the requirements
The office you are moving the phone to must have ethernet and power.
If there is a new employee replacing another, then you need to contact us to change the name associated with that phone. If you are adding someone to the team, you need to contact us to order a new phone.
